Sweet with just the right amount of spice, these Ginger Crinkles are perfect at Christmastime! They look beautiful on a cookie tray, and they're great for cookie exchanges!

Serves: 2-3 dozen
Ingredients
⅔ cup oil
1 cup sugar (plus ¼ cup for rolling)
1 egg
¼ cup molasses
2¼ cups flour
2 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. ginger
1 tsp. cinnamon
Instructions
Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
Beat together oil, sugar, and egg. Stir in molasses.
Add dry ingredients, forming a stiff dough.
Form walnut-sized balls and roll in a bowl of sugar.
Place on an ungreased cookie sheet and bake at 350 degrees for 10 minutes.
Notes
Cookies will puff, then fall.
