The other evening, Tad peeled his first potato EVER! He made delicious homemade mashed potatoes for us (with lots of garlic…mmm!), as well as pork and broccoli.
Vera liked the mashed potatoes too!

Cow Appreciation Day 2011
We enjoyed participating in Chick-fil-A’s Cow Appreciation Day again this year! (Remember last year?)
Vera looked so cute dressed like a cow (my favorite part was her tail!).
She enjoyed eating her first waffle fry!
Leaning Wall Shelves
Here is a project I forgot to post about! Tad made me these leaning wall shelves from reclaimed wood back in April. I love them! I just forgot to post pictures, so here they are!
I love storing extra silverware in these Ikea jars.
Notice how they are built to lean against the wall.
I love how they turned out!
