Have you tried this funny-looking variety of peach? It’s known by several names, including the flat peach, the donut peach, and the UFO peach. It has a white flesh and is very juicy!

I first encountered them at a grocery store a few weeks ago. As a general rule, I do not purchase peaches at grocery stores (call me a food snob, but they just don’t qualify as peaches!!), but these smelled way too sweet and delicious to pass up. I was not disappointed!

You can probably also find them at a grocery store or farmer’s market near you. Enjoy them sliced on cereal… or just in a bowl by themselves!
