This weekend we took a short trip up to see my family in VA. We loved getting to spend time with them! We got to go to my youngest brother’s soccer game on Friday evening. My grandparents came down as well. Mom invited a few ladies to come over on Saturday to have a prayer shower for me & our baby. It was a really special and wonderful time!
We enjoyed our time away and were glad we were able to be in VA this weekend!
I don’t have a lot of words left (haha), so I’m just going to say that our day was wonderful and we have some great pictures to prove it! We were so blessed by our family’s visit.

We’re busy today getting ready for a visit from our family! Tad’s mom, two sister-in-laws: Angela and Stephanie, two nephews: Brayden and Drew, and niece: Haley are coming to visit! We are so very excited to have them.
I’m in the midst of making a fruit salad at the moment (with fresh-picked local strawberries… mmm). Thought I would update my blog readers as to why I probably won’t be posting until much later today.
