At the beach for our County Fair Night (part 1 and part 2), we had a photo booth for preserving fun family memories!

I provided lots of fun props.

I love how all the photos turned out!

We also had a bubble-gum blowing contest!

Tad tried his best

Cordelia tried too!

Grammy gave us her best shot!

But Angela beat us all!!

For our final activity, we did sack races!

Haley was the champion!

But Grammy gave it a good effort too,

as did Tad!

We certainly will remember our Night at the County Fair for a long time!

Tad grilled AMAZING Shenandoah Valley style BBQ chicken for us.  It was fantastic!

We also had corn-on-the-cob,

kettle potato chips,

dill pickles,

watermelon,

homemade soft pretzels,

two types of popcorn (salty and caramel),

and freshly squeezed lemonade!

For dessert, we had a peach cobbler made with in-season peaches, caramel apples, and sea salt caramels.

The food seemed to go over well with everyone!  I didn’t hear any complaints, even from the kids!

For our night at the beach, Tad and I planned a “Night at the County Fair”!  We had a blast cooking and decorating for it.  This post contains the decorations and some of the activities.  My future posts will feature the food, two more activities, and the photo booth!

I made this light-up FAIR sign using brown kraft paper letters from Hobby Lobby and a string of Christmas lights.

The goodie bags for the kids included stickers, a punch balloon, a sucker, two pencils, a deck of mini playing cards, goldfish crackers, and a miniature petting zoo (small plastic animals).

We had such a fun time!
