So… while we tried starting to potty train Vera for a couple weeks, she just wasn’t quite ready for it. She is now back in cloth diapers, and Cordelia has been wearing cloth diapers for a few weeks as well.
With two in cloth, we have been doing laundry like crazy! (Though I am doing less laundry than I was when we were potty training Vera, due to all the accidents, etc.) We’re hoping to get into a better system soon, as we are currently washing diapers every day. Cordelia is starting to use less diapers each day, so I’m hoping that within the next week or so we can go back to washing just once a day.
My current favorite diapers are Smartipants (read why here), but we also use bumGenius 3.0’s, some pre-folds with covers (Thirsties and Econobums) and a Snappi, a few FuzziBunz, and some other miscellaneous diapers.
On the positive side, we don’t have to buy disposable diapers anymore! This is a good way for our family to save money (I’ll admit, it’s not for everyone), and plus cloth diapers look so cute!
