When Vera was a newborn, she was very content to sit in her papasan, swing, be held, or lay on her tummy. Somewhere around three months or so, she started to become discontent with just sitting/laying in one place for too long. She would look up at me with eyes that seemed to say, “entertain me!”
Now, she sits up on her own, crawls, scoots, and otherwise gets where she wants to get. She is quite content to sit and play with toys, though after a few minutes she prefers to explore the rest of the room to see what other things she can find. We are quickly realizing how not child-proof our house is!
Her current favorite toys are a wooden spoon and a metal lid to a cookie container (she discovered it makes a loud noise when she hits it with the spoon).
Awwww! These are some of my favorite photos! She looks SO happy! I thought, also, that she just seemed READY to explore (mentally), just not ABLE (physically)! Now she can find out about her world!! We’ll have to look for some more fun toys/real tools!! Vera has a great mommy! Love to you both, and to Tad!

You can see that sparkle in her eyes! What a lovely age!
So precious!!
