Our baby has officially reached “full-term” when it comes to developmental milestones! Meaning, if she were born after this week, she would most likely not have any issues with development. We are thankful!
I had another appointment with my midwife yesterday. Everything looks good!
I felt Mango flip around earlier this week so that all of her limbs were facing out and she was lying on her back. It was so fun feeling her little hands and feet pressing against my belly! She is back to lying on her side again (still head-down). I love feeling her move! She had the hiccups earlier this morning, which was super cute.
Have you heard people say that more babies are born on a full moon? There is a full moon on February 7, so I’ve been looking into this more. π Any thoughts on this?
Week thirty-seven with Vera.
Several nurse friends have told me that hospitals usually staff extra L&D nurses when there is a full moon. There was a full moon when I was 38 or 39 weeks with Levi and I had a bunch of strong, regular contractions, but they didn’t lead into labor.
You look great! Don’t you just love feeling all the movements? So precious!
I can’t believe you are soooo close! She will be here soon. π
Eden came during a low pressure storm. The L&D dept. was super busy when she came. My Dr. had to keep running from room to room. Praying for you π
When I worked L&D I used to dread full moons. I fully believe those and storms can bring on labor. The combo of the two of them together? Usually were our biggest nights!
I had Caleb on a full moon π – So I am a believer in full moons producing more labors hehe. Its all abt that gravitational pull. But also baby comes when baby is ready π – Heres hoping mango comes a wee bit earlier than Vera so you arent so tired. But either way, can’t wait to meet her.
