And now for… the details of Vera’s doggie birthday party!
We decorated with some of Vera’s stuffed doggies.
I made tent signs for all of the food using paint swatches. We also decorated with some dog toys I bought for less than $1 each.
We had a frozen yogurt bar featuring homemade vanilla and homemade chocolate frozen yogurt. We had an array of toppings!
I covered an old coffee canister with scrapbooking paper and baker’s twine to make a spoon holder.
The napkins were my color inspiration for the whole party.
My mom and I made a birthday banner to hang on the door. It is made from scrapbooking paper, alphabet stickers, baker’s twine, and mini clothespins.
Other yummy foods included doggie-shaped cookies and delicious brownies.
Most of the table linens and dishes are just ones I have had for a while.

My yogurt and punch (I thought it would be fun to throw some fruit in my punch… it was great!)
Vera got a few doggie birthday cards.
I think we had a successful party! Vera seemed to enjoy herself (except for blowing out her candles… that seemed to alarm her a bit…) and we had a great time with all of our family members who came!
