I love decorating my mantle seasonally, but it feels like there is a loooong stretch between Valentine’s Day and fall!
I like to pull out some “neutral” decorations that coordinate with my living room to display year-round.
sources: topiary: thrifted // books: Spurgeon, Niequist, and a thrift store find // bird: gift (Michael’s?) // picture: Big Lots // plant: TJ Maxx (I painted the box) // lantern: gift (TJ Maxx?) // fleur de lis: Hobby Lobby
I’m currently trying to decide whether to leave the picture propped up in the center of the mantle or to hang it on the wall directly above the mantle. What do you think?
Do you tend to decorate for all the seasons, or do you have an “everyday” decor for your home?
I do a mixture of both, but I tend to have an “everyday” style, with the exception of fall and Christmas.
Linking to Tatertots and Jello.
