A few weeks ago, the kids and I got to go to Roanoke to spend some time with my family! Both of my brothers are finished with college for the summer, so the girls really enjoyed hanging out with their uncles.
We spent a lot of time swinging in Pops’ and MiMi’s front yard!
Jude enjoyed the beautiful weather too.
He was bound and determined to eat some grass!
My dad is always growing beautiful flowers in the yard!
One of the days we were up in Roanoke, we went to Center in the Square to visit the new fish tanks that are in the lobby and the rooftop garden and koi pond (totally free and open to the public)!
Vera was a little nervous about being up so high, but it was a beautiful day to be on a roof!
I loved the wall of succulents.
Seriously, the weather was as gorgeous as it could be!
We had a great view of the city!
While the kids didn’t have the best attitudes ever (we’re in the “training stage” right now with the older two!), we still did have a fun time visiting downtown, swinging in the yard, playing at the park, picnicking with friends, and playing at home!
Jude loves his MiMi!
We are always thankful when we get to spend time with my family!

I loved these pictures! I’m sure your mom is so proud of you and loves her grandchildren so much! You look lovely, as always, and I know you are doing a great job raising your children. “Training stages” are tough, but they are so worth it!
