A few weeks ago I made this simple little flower ring. I think it turned out well!To make one yourself…
You will need:
sheer fabric (organza or something similar)
scissors
candle
pearls or beads for the center
needle and coordinating thread
hot glue gun
ring base (find them at Michael’s or AC Moore and use a coupon)All you have to do is:
Cut circles out of sheer fabric. For my ring, I used 9 circles. They don’t have to be perfect circles, but they should vary in size. Hold the edge of the fabric near a lit candle so that the edges melt a little and curl up. Layer all your circles together and stitch through all the layers once to hold them together. Sew pearls or beads in the center and knot off your thread in the back. Adhere your flower to a ring base with a dab of hot glue.Have fun!
If you’re not the creative type, I have a similar ring for sale in my etsy shop!
Very nice! Thanks for linking up to the Mad Skills party!
