It’s hard to believe, but 2015 is almost over! Here are a few of the main things that happened in 2015 in our family!
January
–Visited Pops and MiMi over New Year’s
-We announced that we were expecting a new baby
–Vera gave everyone haircuts
February
-Cordelia turned three and we had a penguin party with family
March
–Friends visited us and our kids had fun playing together
April
-God provided a new van for our family
–Hosted Easter dinner with friends from church
-The girls visited Pops and MiMi all by themselves
May
-We visited Tad’s family, including his Grandma
-Went on a field trip to a dairy farm
-Spent a day at the river
-Hosted a porch party
June
-Took a day trip to New Bern
-Went to see my family briefly
-Began a fun homeschooling unit study on the ocean
July
-Went to Cow Appreciation Day at Chick-fil-a
-Tad and I went to Wilmington for a few days and the kids spent a week with Tad’s parents
-Friends threw a surprise shower for Baby Apricot
August
–Vera turned five and we celebrated with a small Daniel Tiger party for family
–Theodore was born!
September
–Jude turned two and he got a train set for his birthday
-We adjusted to parenting four kids!
October
-Hosted several fall porch parties
-Celebrated six years of marriage
–Visited Tad’s family
-Met my family at the halfway point for a lovely day at the park
-Took a field trip to the pumpkin patch
November
-Took lots of walks as a family
-Celebrated Thanksgiving with family and friends
December
–Decorated gingerbread houses with friends
-Went to the beach to celebrate Christmas with Tad’s family
-Had a lovely Christmas Day at home
We also continued to be involved at our local church (attending a weekly small group, Aliesha attending a monthly women’s Bible study, and all of us fellowshipping regularly with friends).
Tad was blessed to be able to start working from home all of the time beginning in November. It’s awesome having such a short commute!

Thank you so much for sharing “how to get your baby on a schedule.” It’s a very very good blog and I love how you started it off with prayer! Sadly I’m just now seeing this blog and my baby is almost 6 weeks old. Could I still do the same thing as if I started from the beginning? I’m about to start woke back up and really would like my son on a schedule. Thanks so much in advance and you have a beautiful family! God bless!!
