Our “Captain Adorable” is eight months old today!
Some milestones:
-can sit up for a few seconds when I help him get in position
-“army crawls” across the floor
-zips around the room in his walker
-loves looking at pictures of himself or a mirror
-goes to bed at 8:30 usually
-exclusively breastfeeds (still hasn’t started solids)
-weighs 22 pounds
-is starting to have some hair on his head!
-pushes up on his hands and a little bit on his knees
-coos, giggles, laughs, and blows raspberries
-makes some consonant sounds, such as “d” and “b”
-loves to eat carpet fuzz (eww)
-is overall very happy and pleasant!
Thankful for our sweet little guy!

Such a doll! G exclusively nursed until 8 months, too. She wanted nothing to do with food until she could feed herself little bites. I threw away lots of homemade, organic baby food. 🙁 but, I loved that she nursed so long. Hoping to do the same with the next little lady.
Glad to hear Jude isn’t the only one who waited this long to start solids! He still has such a gag reflex whenever I give him a small taste of something (plus, he just started sitting up in the last week). We’ll start when he’s ready! 🙂
