Today I spent the day freezer cooking! I am really thankful for all that I got accomplished today during times when Vera was napping or otherwise occupied. I feel pretty worn out, but satisfied with the work I was able to do. Here’s what I made:
sorry for the terrible picture – I didn’t finish cooking until the sun was waaaay down |
–Spaghetti Sauce (4 containers – should be 4 meals + leftovers)
-Italian Hamburger Patties (2 – 1 meal)
-Adobo Hamburger Patties (2 – 1 meal)
-Whole-Wheat Hamburger Buns (8 rolls)
-Sweet BBQ Sauce for Salmon (1 meal)
-Cilantro & Black Bean Taco Meat (2 meals)
–Stir Fry Veggie/Sauce Kits (2 dinners + 2 lunches)
-Chimichuri Cilantro Sauce (4 servings to use with chicken)
-Mushroom Beef Stroganof (1 meal + leftovers?)
-Chimichangas (2-3 meals)
–Pizza Dough and Pizza Sauce (2 meals)
-Bacon/Egg Breakfast Cups (6 breakfasts for Tad)
-not pictured: Whole-Wheat Waffles (16+ waffles: 4 breakfasts for the three of us)
I guess that’s a total of 18 dinners/lunches and 10 breakfasts… 28 meals (or parts of meals) in all!
I’m too tired tonight to post any recipes, but if there are any specific ones you want, let me know and I’ll try to oblige this weekend!
Have you done any freezer cooking lately?

Good work!!

I’m guessing the yellow circles are the breakfast cups? How do you make those?
Aliesha says
@Sarah @ Feed My FamilyThey are super-easy! Just wrap a strip of bacon around the inside of a greased muffin tin. Then, mix up some eggs, milk, salt & pepper, and cheese and pour into the cups! Bake for about 12-15 minutes until puffy. Cool, freeze individually, then put in a big freezer bag. To serve, microwave on a plate until warm! Delish!
