I just came across this wonderful post written by a friend who homeschools her sweet boys. This, to me, really speaks volumes as to the true spirit of home education! I hope that I can be like Davene and “not let school get in the way of learning.”

I cannot tell you how many people seem to think that learning takes place only in the confines of a school building, rather than being a way of life, developing curiosity, and passing on a love of learning to our children! They say that 80% of U.S. families did not buy or read a book last year. How tragic!
Do you plan on homeschooling? My hubby and I are in prayer about it. I love to hear people’s points of view on the subject.
