My sweet sister-in-law, Angela (who, by the way, needs to start her own blog…hehe), recently sent me this beautiful book.
It’s called Expecting: Praying for Your Child’s Development – Body and Soul.
It goes through each week of your pregnancy and suggests specific things to pray for based on what part of the baby is developing that week.
For example, this week (15) I am praying for our baby’s digestive glands and for a healthy lifestyle as he or she gets older.
The book is filled with Scripture and prayers, as well as sweet quotations and places to journal about the pregnancy.
This is a great book, not just for expectant mothers, but for any mother who wants to lift up her child to the Lord and pray for his or her continued growth!

Yes, I agree with the above sentiment!! Angela, you are so sweet and thoughtful and a blessing to me as well as to my daughter!!
When I was visiting in Aliesha’s home recently, I looked through this wonderful little book (Actually, while “watching” the rest of the Super Bowl with N!) and thought that it is a great encouragement and tool for praying. What a very nice gift!!
Thanking God for the great people in Tad’s family that He is blessing Aliesha (and me) with!!
Blessings,

How nice! We used to do that every week when we got our updates from babycenter.
God does answer prayers. before we got pregnant, we prayed for a girl, and we prayed for a friendly, outgoing, loving and sensitive girl. We can already see that he has answered that!
