Tad and I are back in town after a wonderful weekend at Family Life’s Weekend to Remember marriage conference. We enjoyed our time together so much, and the conference really gave us good teaching and helped establish a lot of healthy patterns in our marriage. We were so blessed to be able to attend, and we were grateful that because Tad is a pastor, we were able to go for free! I’m hoping that sometime soon I will be able to blog about some of the teaching we received this weekend. Tad might even join in!
Last week I don’t think I made half of the meals that I planned to since I was so sick. I’m still not feeling great, but I am definitely doing better and I am thankful for medicine!
Here are my menus for this week. We definitely did better on our grocery bill this week. I saved about $8 with coupons, which may not seem like a lot, but I was excited. Hey, if I can save $8 every week for a year, I would save $416! Hoping that I will be able to continue to become a coupon mom so that I can be the best steward of our finances that I can.

I found menu planning to be a struggle today, not because I don’t like cooking or can’t think of things to make, but because I have NO appetite because of my cold! It’s hard to decide what to cook when nothing “sounds good”! I think we still did okay, anyway.
Think Tad and I are going to spend some time together before dinner and make blended frappes.

Drew just prayed for you to feel better at dinner, then asked me “Is Aweesha all better yet?” Glad you and Tad had a good weekend! Sounds great! I’d love to go sometime!

I got one question… what on earth is a bacon muffin? ๐

My sweet girl is taking such good care of her hubby–despite her non-appetite!! So glad you all had such a nice weekend away and learned so much. God will use you mightily to teach others also!
Off to grocery shop so I can feed my guys! ๐
