Step 1: Dump the contents of the box onto the living room floor (not all parts shown).
Step 2: Study the very simple directions. Resist the urge to hire a professional. Run to Wal-mart to buy batteries (not included). 
Step 3: Begin assembling. Stop partway through to admire your work.
Step 4: Finish assembling elliptical machine. Hide any leftover parts. Test out the machine for stability and ease of use.
